We have been to two star parties, one beautiful clear night, one cloudy/stormy night. The star party on the clear night was obviously our favorite. It's honestly one of my husband and I's favorite things we've ever done traveling (and we travel a lot). We talk about it all the time (and this was the one we attended two years ago!) We recently attended again but it was very cloudy and storming. The presentations that were put on indoors were interesting, and we learned a lot. Try to go on a clear night if attending the Star Party, but don't be discouraged if it ends up being a bad night for viewing stars, you'll still have fun and learn tons!
