I had a pleasant visit to the refuge and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to observe various species of birds in their natural habitat. The volunteers at Friends of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge were friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the wildlife and activities available at the refuge. I'm already planning my next visit!
