Canon Pass? Cash back? In my experience, a real mockery ... I bought an optician on June 25th convinced by the ongoing cash back promotion and warranty extension, on June 29th I register with active canon pass the warranty extension and start the long process for the Cash Back .. I immediately notice that something is not right, 1000 steps with continuous requests and expectations .. in short, they have studied it really well so as not to let you reach the goal .. I stop because in any case mine cash back amounts to about 250 and it is the reason that prompted me to purchase .. at a certain point, after entering the tax code, iban personal data and another pile of confirmed and reconfirmed data, a nice screen appears that I makes you believe that you have finally made it and that tells me that I would have received information about the bank transfer or something similar by email .. nice serene and satisfied I resume my everyday life .. but at the dawn of mid-September I realize that the transfer anc now nothing and I decide to call for clarification ... even before finishing the sentence in which I indicate the problem I am told that I am not active and that I have no right to cash back .. very calmly I explain to the assistance I have done everything that I had been asked for up to the famous screen .. the answer was the same .. she did not register .. no cash back .. After a few seconds in apnea I replay everything again and I am liquidated with a number of practice and an email address where to send a confirmation email .. ???? Ok in the following days I will do a further check .. but of the confirmation email of which I was not aware .. (otherwise I would not have remained confident waiting for the transfer) not even the shadow ... I call the assistance again and this time the rudeness reigns supreme .. the answer was dry .. my colleague had already told her that no mail no cash back .. I explain that I have filled in everything .. iban .. etc .. etc .. and the answer was. . she did not fill in anything so no mail .. no cash back .. at that point I understand that for the lady they are just a number to be filed quickly .. and I end the call by informing that I would write about this bad experience to say the least to inform people to watch out .. the answer? A grin and ... go ahead .. goodbye ... Deeply disappointed by Canon, a company that I have always considered serious and as a photographer I have always appreciated in quality and products ...
last thing ... from the history of my mac I found all the passages that show the long process .. including the link to my bank for the recovery of the iban ...
