This used to be a place where me and my husband loved to come to. We also bring guests from out of town to Pearl Street and recommend it to all of our airbnb guests. Until today...

I made a reservation for a party from work several weeks beforehand for a specific area so that people could talk and hear each other. I chose a day of the week I was told was their slowest to prevent any issues of limited space. I also called a couple of times asking if there is another party at the same time and asked them to call me back if there would be another reservation. In fact I even changed the date once because of such cross booking. When I came at the time of my booking, our party was kicked out from the area we requested because a bigger party requested that area after we booked it. Nobody called me back to let me know about it.
We were offered a bar area or an area next to another party. Then we were told that their best server will be helping us. I can't say that that happened either. We were repeatedly left with empty glasses.

I made this reservation weeks ago and asked to update me if there is a change. You chose to take advantage of a larger party, but you lost two good and loyal customers. We will no longer come here. We will also no longer refer people here. We have been such good customers over several years. I feel very betrayed by such thoughtless treatment just because someone else filled a couple more seats. Sorry, but we won't be back.
