To begin we went to the Vineyard restaurant at Donnington Valley Hotel for a Golden wedding Anniversary. The Hotel is located outside of Newbury towards the A34/ M4 junction 13. I would have given the restaurant 4 *s However the length of time was the thing that let it side to mediocre. I award Stars by the following categories: 1)Service 2) food 3)Timing 4)Presentation 5) Overall Qaulity of enjoyment . This review awards 3 stars for service, food and Presentation. I Cannot award a star for Timing due to the fact that we had one course an hour. I also cannot award a star for the overall enjoyment as we also had to keep asking for items on more than one occasion . I also cannot give it more than 3 stars due to the fact that it was a meal to celebrate an Once in a lifetime Occasion and I am of the honest held belief that this had let the entire experience down. If I do return I will consider doing a new review based on that experience.
