I recently joined a gem and mineral club and it has been an amazing experience. The community is supportive and welcoming, and I have learned so much from the educational presentations and discussions. The field trips are always a highlight, offering the opportunity to discover new specimens and learn about the geological history of different areas. The Palomar club, in particular, stands out for its organization and the passion of its members. Highly recommended for anyone interested in gems and minerals!
