I was in the emergency room for two consecutive days with my baby.
Two days ago they discharged in a short time with a diagnosis of tonsillitis, yesterday morning after having paid for three private pediatricians and an X-ray where everyone declared pneumonia and the need for hospitalization, I returned to the emergency room at about 10 pm.
We left at 6:30 this morning, after being treated as the tail-end of all the other patients, who were in a much better condition than ours.
The receptionist, for whom pneumonia is a disease to be included among the green codes, was arrogant and inappropriate to the relationship with the public.
The behavior of her blonde colleague is totally different, that despite our pressure, due also to the stress of having had 20 hours of first aid in two days, helps us with grace and education, also providing us with liquids for the child.
The hospitalization was not possible due to lack of beds, the rooms for visits are reduced to a minimum, the technological tools available are inadequate to an extent for the amount of work to be disposed of.
Totally disappointed by a structure that boasts of being one of the best in Italy in pediatrics.
