I'm going to preface this by saying that the majority of the negative reviews posted here are older than six months and many of the issues posted in other reviews no longer apply. Those reviews may have had some truth to them at the time they were written, but they are no longer accurate.

With that said, I would like to share my experiences with VP Protection so far.

I have been with VP for a few months now and in the security industry for several years; I felt welcome at VP from the day I walked in the door for my interview. I ve had the privilege of working in the field and in the dispatch centre which, means my perspective is somewhat unique. I can unequivocally say VP Protection cares about all employees and clients. The company strives to provide the best service they can, and in instances where issues have arisen (as they will in any business), they were addressed swiftly and appropriately.

As others have said, pay rates at VP are very competitive. Opportunities for advancement exist, but have to be earned. Advanced training is top-notch and is provided by instructors who have a wealth of real-life experience from extensive careers in law enforcement.

As with any job, you get out of it what you put in. If you bring a strong work ethic, you will succeed and you will enjoy your time with this company.
