I am not generally a fan of going to Embassies so ...

I am not generally a fan of going to Embassies so set off to the Embassy to renew my passport with much concern having seen some of the on-line reviews. Was very pleasantly surprised- yes the security line is never fun for anything but I was seen early, the consular employee who helped me could not have been more helpful and pleasant (not the norm for most embassies) and the process was very smooth. Got the passport renewed and collected it in person- again no problem at all - in and out in ten minutes. I wonder if some of these reviewers failed to check the web-site properly before going or went to a different embassy. Great experience and thanks to the consular staff who helped me submit the application and as I said, embassies for me are not my idea of something to look forward to.
