If I could describe this dealership in one word would be horrible!! This review is for their sales department, and the sales representative s name at this dealership was Leonardo. I purchased a GLC300 a couple of months back, and the deal was all done online due to Covid19. I contacted a private broker who worked with them to get me a deal. The issues all began upon delivery of my vehicle from this dealership. Firstly, upon delivery the vehicle came with a huge tear on the steering wheel, and the Mercedes Benz person delivering the vehicle brought a repair agreement stating that this would be repaired. I thought okay, but why didn t they repair it prior to delivery?, but he assured me that they will send someone over to repair it. I live in Brooklyn, so it felt odd they come all the way over here for that, but I had the signed agreement, so I felt fine about it at the time. Secondly, I told them that I wanted my plates transferred, but for some reason they said that it would be easier for them just get me new plates, and they will pay for it, well great I thought, but of course I was wrong about that too. Eventually, I looked over my sales contract, signed my paperwork, which was fine, and took possession of my new vehicle.

Fast forward a couple of weeks later I am still waiting for a call to schedule my repair on the steering wheel, but nobody had called. Good thing I read that repair agreement in detail, for it stated that it will only be honored for 30 days from signing, after that I was on my own for cost of repair. So, I called the service department at this dealership, and to my surprise they said they do not go that far for repairs, and that I had to come in myself. I told them I was assured they will come over to my area, but the service department said that is was not true. Okay, so I drive over at my personal expense from Brooklyn to have it repaired. Thankfully, the repair was done quickly and thoroughly, and I must admit, the service department was good. It was not their fault the sales representative was being untruthful.

Then, came the issue with my plates. 2 months had passed by, and I still did not have my permanent plates nor registration. The temporary plates and temporary registration I received was a week away from expiring. Eventually, I was driving with expired plates and registration due to their incompetence. I called the dealership several times, left voicemails to Leonardo and the finance department regarding this issue, but not one single person got back to me. Finally, before having to go all the way over there again in person, I decided to call Mercedes Benz Financial Services, and they got in contact with them. After a week of contacting Mercedes Benz Financial, my plates and registration arrived magically arrived. I still have yet to receive a call back from this dealership with some sort of explanation to what happened, not that it is important at this point in time anyway.

Overall, extremely horrible customer service. If you do go to this dealership make sure to get everything in writing and of course, read the details in your contract, re-read them, and read them again. The only certainty is that I will never do business again with them again.
