I didn't apply for the staffing sales role. A recruiter reached out to me, twice, for an interview. I went in for an interview to be interrogated about my work history and background, only to be sent an email that they've decided to go with another candidate. They didn't even have the balls to pick up the phone to face me.

Word to the wise, when you headhunt and cold call candidates, you sure better be sure that you're ready to make a hire instead of wasting the person's time.

I wasn't actively looking for a job and Consilium Staffing cannot do me any favors by tying me to a desk to make less than the average household wage to make 80-150 phone calls per day. You can hire a call center for that.

I walked into their office, and for a company that prides itself on "hiring people", they have a sign at the reception desk that instructs visitors to pick up the phone to ring a member of the team. They've eliminated a job and replaced it with technology. Irony?

The company is only doing $25-30M in sales with about 100 internal employees and they want a 40% increase in sales this year. That's ridiculous. One BDM can do $25M in sales.
