I am writing today to report a lack of transparency in the interview process at DEB Construction, LLC. I was seeking a position in the human resources department. I was very much under the strong assumption that I was the appropriate candidate for this position (the Human Resources Manager, Jean Lee, even stated to me in-person that if the decision were up to her, then I would be hired!), or, at the very least, I would be afforded a reasonable opportunity for a second-round interview with the Vice President to explain what I have accomplished in my professional career as a Human Resources (HR) Professional. The VP (who was supposed to interview me in the second round) prolonged the process by an extra two weeks UNNECESSARILY. The VP clearly does not have the professional courtesy or respect for any candidate's time and efforts. Essentially, I was left in the loop as to whether I would be proceeding along with the process, when every indication was that I would be. At the very last minute, I was told that I lacked the experience for the position. BOTTOM-LINE: I AM WRITING TO ADVISE ANY POTENTIAL CANDIDATE TO BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH DEB CONSTRUCTION!
