My husband and I visited Ham's Orchards last Friday for the first time. It was a very hot and crowded day! So I have to say, with that many people, the lines moved quickly and there was plenty of product. But my reason for a one star rating is the product itself. I bought a small cup of soft serve "peach" ice cream. Everyone had a cup of this stuff. It was HOT! Everyone wants nice cool ice cream on a hot day! The woman in line in front of me recommended it highly! So I thought it must be WONDERFUL for $4! It was nice and cold and smooth, but I'll be danged if it tasted anything remotely like a peach. It was sweet, peach-colored, soft-serve plain ice cream. Not even vanilla flavored. So that was the ice cream. Then I bought a pie. BEAUTIFUL looking peach pie. $15.95! I thought this bad boy is gonna knock my husband's socks off! No cigar. It was just plain. While the crust was sort of flaky, the flavor, once again, was just blah. I'm sooo disappointed! If these are mass produced somewhere else, quality control has got to step it up! Taste the filling before introducing it to the crust, for crying out loud! Sorry for the one star, but I was being generous and honest.
