I have never been so disappointed with the level of service as when I stayed at Astral Towers in December 2018. I would give this place a 0 if it was possible. I had a two bedroom harbour suite booked for two nights, the first night was for me and my bridesmaid s stay and the second night was for our wedding night. We choose this hotel based on its close proximity to our reception hall, Dolton House, Darling Island, assuming it would be convenient and enjoyable to stay here!! We had many, many problems with the front desk not letting our hair, makeup, flowers, photographer and videographers into the hotel. Even though they knew we specifically booked the suite to get ready in and arrangements were made for escorted entry of our wedding team the night before the wedding. Our room service orders would not arrive until we had called numerous times asking for them. Clean glasses and dishes just never came, no matter how many times we called. Housekeeping on our wedding day was so delayed that photographers/videographers had to wait for beds to be made at 2pm! We got no housekeeping pre- bride and grooms arrival. When asked my friends were told there are no staff to clean the room so they cleaned the suite and wheeled out the lunch dishes before we arrived!! Absolutely appalling service. If you have getting married at Doltone House and are considering staying here, please don t add to your stress on the day! The suite at Astral Tower will cost you about $1300 per night and you will get no service for the huge amount of money you fork out. The views (we had a Harbour view suite) are nothing special and easily surpassed by Four Seasons, Shangri la and Park Hyatt. Do your research, don t do what I did and best of luck.
