My sister and I driving from Colorado to visit the Longhorn Museum, the Thirsty Goat Saloon and to have dinner in their restaurant was treated very rudely. We were not guests and there was a Private Event going on (though we did not see any guests on the premises). We thought about staying there on another trip down to the Big Bend Region and now know why people stay in Terlingua or Study Butte, the people are very friendly and the food is outstanding at the Starlight Theater. A must see at La Kiva Bar & Grill in Terlingua. This establishment is so over-rated for your dollars.
