In my experience, you get what you pay for at The Crow's Nest - it's a bit pricier, but the service, food, and atmosphere all show what Santa Cruz high-class culture can provide. As a bonus, the upstairs bar / cocktail lounge is very comfortable for weeknight meetups or stage shows.
