I have mixed feelings about the Intern part that is mandatory to gain residency and employment with them. They want you to show up at 8am to perform janitorial work... Clean bathrooms, community rooms like laundry room, tv room, kitchen/ cafeteria. Basic upkeep... Sweep, mop, vaccuum, dust, clean windows and mirrors, take out trash. I had no problem with any of this. The only issue I have with this...With an efficient group like I was a part of , it takes 2 hours TOPS to make the whole place shine. They then pretty much just expect you to "look busy". I definitely feel that time could be better utilized towards my rebuilding process.
They offer you a minimum wage job with some "perks" transportation to and from the jobsites which is helpful especially if you have no driver's license. Free washers n dryers ( 3 of each) and laundry soap. Bathroom only had one good shower apparently on the guys side. If you have ever been to the "way-way" halfway house for any of you that have been lucky enough to avoid our fine prison system here and were unfamiliar with the terminology.
