My complaint is with the way they do business. I have never stepped foot in this place, but feel very strongly about this review. I was an active member at Gold's gym. That gym closed without notice, and I was notified that my membership was transferred to Charlotte Athletic Club. I called CAC to tell them that I was not interested in moving, and I was informed that I had to give 30 days notice to cancel my membership. Remember, I was never a member of CAC, and the gym I did join closed without notice. CAC then attempted to charge my credit card for the next 3 months. When I called to complain, they told me, "We don't handle billing, you have to call ABC Financial." When I called ABC Financial, they told me, "We are not affiliated with the gym, we just handle billing. If you want to cancel you have to do that with the gym." I can not get anyone at Charlotte Athletic Club to address this issue, but they keep trying to bill my credit card. Just not the way to do business.
