Plan to spend a few hours and be both amazed and horrified at the history and the stories that have been retained. So much history and so many pivotal things happened here, you won't be disappointed at all you can see.
Also, while you can see the crown jewels and they are amazing, be aware that the queen has requested that NO pictures be taken of the jewels - flash or otherwise so just don't do it.
