I had seen some of the work done by Lewis online and then a friend of mine had an amazing piece done. I had a tattoo that I didn t like me was desperate to have covered.

I wanted a piece that was original and artistic. I messaged and Jo came back to me really quickly. I wasn t sure what I would be able to get away with as the tattoo I wanted covering was large and very black! Jo was brilliant, she answered all my questions and made lots of suggestions and sent me photos of the type of tattoo that would best suit. She was so patient and obviously really knowledgable.

Eventually we agreed the concept and I made an appointment to go to the shop and meet them both. The shop is very modern, clean and comfortable.... and the coffee is really good too! We chatted about what I wanted and Lewis showed my pictures, colours and styles until he really understood what I wanted.

The next time I went to the studio it was to see the design that Lewis had done. I was made up. He clearly understood me and what I wanted. Everything was right!! One thing is really clear, there is no rush.. both Jo and Lewis made sure I was 100% happy at each stage to make sure that the piece I was getting was right for me. This is so important

My tattoo was done over 2 sittings. The whole experience is relaxed and the studio is really comfortable. You can choose films to watch or music to listen too. I was that chilled out getting my tattoo I even managed to have a little sleep. Both Jo and Lewis are lovey guys who make you feel so welcome and the whole experience is just so professional.

My tattoo is fantastic. It is exactly the piece I have always wanted. The whole experience was brilliant. From the first conversation to the amazing aftercare ensuring that my tattoo heals quickly I couldn t recommend Nomad Ink enough. It s just simply a brilliant place with brilliant people producing brilliant artwork on your skin.
