It is not the first time that we have stayed in a chain hotel and, once again, we have not been disappointed. Since we are talking about excellence, in the case of Bangkok we would have appreciated the presence of a shuttle on the river for transfers to the other bank or the neighboring stations despite being the hotel very close to the ferry stop. Furthermore, as far as restaurants are concerned, unlike previous experiences, here we were unable to feed the youngest child with dedicated specialties, other than those present on the restaurant menu such as pizza, burgers or toasts that were normally part of the specialties served in pool. At the early morning departure, the breakfast box, requested the previous evening, was not yet available at the agreed time, however the prompt intervention of a porter quickly solved the little inconvenience. In any case, for us the Shangri-la continues to be a reality of great excellence and a sure point of reference for hospitality.
