They put the special ed teacher who abused and neglected me in a seclusion room for crying as the head of special education in bethel school district. This was a long time ago but it was recently mentioned so i feel obligated to say this to inform other families about special education and how there is little to no protection for these students. I hope times have changed but I unfortunately doubt it since the school system is so outdated and based on old school ideologies. The only reason i am not mentioning her name is for legal reasons but i hope this gets someone s attention and appropriate action will be taken someday to treat students with challenges like human beings and that someday i can trust that if my child has special needs that they won t be abused.
