I ll echo the sentiments of some other reviewers: ...

I ll echo the sentiments of some other reviewers: security outside - both at gate and at security check - is not helpful and not friendly (though one guard was fairly friendly as we accessed the entrance on foot), but inside (u.s. citizen services area) was quick and efficient. Other positive - received our requested documents less than two weeks after our appointment and interview!

Notes: (1) you cannot park at the embassy. take the train or other public transportation. we were unaware of this (coming from over an hour away with no traffic), and were forced to use public pay parking in the area.
(2) you cannot bring a stroller into the embassy itself - even after going thru security with one. so be prepared if you have an infant and a lot of stuff
(3) no nursing or other area for infants though the handicap bathroom does have a changing table
