Very disappointed. I think part of our problem is that we rented from the owner and left when Candlewood had it. We left the inside much cleaner than we found it; but Candlewood doesn't realize this. While there was a new deck put in and any maintenance calls were responded to, my husband spent hours repairing some of the windows that didn't work and applying lemon oil to the wood that was molding due to lack of storm windows. Also, we were charged labor for removal of landscaping that was done by the prior tenants as well as cleaning that was done by us. The kitchen and upstairs bathroom were spotless when we left. I think what really is frustrating is that due to the death of a close family member that week and my husband being out of state, when I called and apologized for the garage and was reassured that they understood and would take care of it, I was not told we would be charged. We would have been more than happy to come back after the 31st to do the work in the garage especially since it was not being rented yet. My husband had really hoped to rescue the raised garden beds he had put in and reuse them.
