My husband and I stayed three nights for a conference. The hotel was very busy with multiple events going on. The common areas were always packed and there were three times that we waited more than 10 minutes for an elevator. Members of some conference groups were very aggressive and pushed ahead of those waiting to get on the elevators, which made the wait even longer.
It seemed optional for housekeeping staff to clean rooms. More than half of our group had at least one day when the rooms were not taken care of--beds not made, towels not replaced, etc. When we called the front desk to inquire why our room hadn't been freshened up, the staff seemed to be spiteful and threw all of our dirty towels in the sink and still did not make up the room. The staff members at the front desk offered us points and free breakfast instead of arranging to have the room addressed. We were at a conference where all meals were included and we don't usually stay at this hotel chain. So, meals and points were a poor substitute for the basic service we should have been entitled to receive. It also seemed that the hotel had us mixed up with another room. We heard the staff loudly complaining that we had demanded a microwave oven. We did not request a microwave oven and had no desire to cook since meals were included with the conference. We also had a message on our phone explaining that they did not have a microwave for us. Overall, this hotel did not have a good system for pleasing its guests and ensuring a comfortable stay.
