The amount of violations against the Fair Housing ...

The amount of violations against the Fair Housing Act this agency is guilty of is phenomenal. On March 23rd my partner and I scheduled a viewing of a property for March 27th. We checked before the viewing to make sure no one swooped in and had an application put in, or approved just in case. When their website said the property was still fully available we took the chance to go and look at the house. Wanting more information, and the possibility to sit down and fill out the application we made our way to the agency. As soon as we stepped inside we were blatantly ignored. Once the receptionist realized we wouldn't leave until spoken to, she rudely asked what it was that we wanted. We asked if we could have more information on the property and without missing a beat she told us the property was no longer available and hasn't been since Friday. Now, if you're still with me you'll remember that on Friday is when we scheduled the viewing. You'll also remember that we checked before the viewing and the property was still listed as available.
Something to know about my partner and I, neither of us are fully white. She is Hispanic, and I'm mixed. Obviously I've used the term 'partner' through this entire review so we are gay, and we both have an alternative style of dressing. After the very brief interaction with the receptionist we left the agency and I decided to look on their website again just to see that, yes, the property in question was still fully available. Nothing was changed on the website until closer to 5 that evening to say that there was a lease starting the very next day.
So here we are, the day the lease was supposed to start, the property is still on your website listed as available, the for rent sign is still in the front yard, and applications for this property are still being accepted.
Was it discrimination? Was it simply the receptionist not wanting to do her job? I guess that's a question the HUD will have to answer for us.
And before I get a snarky response to this review from Capstone, that probably wouldn't look very good since the complaint has already been submitted.
