This is a palliative care home where you can visit your loved ones when they are dying. My dear friend Liesbeth (a passionate Christian) spent her last weeks here. Sadly her friends could barely visit due to locked doors and visits restricted to one hour per day (as arranged by her brother, an atheist). Liesbeth signed documents requesting longer visiting hours but this request was not honoured. In fact Liesbeth was not even given a Christian funeral - decided (once again) by her brother. Our church was left out in the cold. A palliative care home should listen to friends of the dying person (not just to relatives) to have a true insight into the needs of the person.
