I took my 6 year old there over half term and we loved it. We hired the audio guides and spent a good four hours going around the site. His favourite was the white tower, for adults the crown jewels and history behind it is very impressive. The only disappointing part of the trip was the lack of an area to stop and eat a packed lunch or run free for a bit. Highly recommended, don't take very young children there or prams.
