In the past I have come the ER and I have waited over 8 hours to be sent home. Is like after they assessed the situation they realize is not a true emergency like a life threatening emergency so everything takes hours to process is insane. A nurse would come every 2 hours to do testing and one day I waited over 4 hours to get an ultrasound the excuse was we don t have an ultrasound tech on the weekend only and on all one that apparently takes his or her sweet time getting there. All I know is that I ve been angry feeling like the nurses and staff don t care about the patients because if the extremely long time they have to wait to give test results and sent people home when to them is not a true emergency. That has to change.

But my perspective about this hospital changed when in February 11th 2020 in the middle of my miscarriage I was bleeding In pain and as soon as I entered that ER all the nurses came to my rescue, got me a while chair, gave me a room, inserted an IV and gave me pain meds to calm me it took them 15 minutes, it was amazing. I thought I was going to die from all the physical pain I was suffering at the moment. After they got the situation in control they call my OB doctor and in minutes he arrived Dr. Michael Ahn, he assessed the situation and prepared an OR and got me ready for surgery he saved my life in my book. He and all the nurses are my heroes. I am alive today because they saved my life and even though they are short of staff when is a real emergency everyone worked together and saved my life when it mattered the most and I am grateful.
