Check in was a nightmare. I was at an event all day/night and had to check in late around midnight. I called the hotel at 6:30 pm that evening to ensure I could check in and that payment from my company was ready to go. Well, when I checked in the front desk manager told me I had to pay for the entire stay with my personal credit card because my name wasn't on the card they had on file. Why would I bother to call ahead of my arrival if the hotel was going to do this? I got checked in and was asleep at 1:46 am.

Second issue was the smell and general cleanliness of the room. The bathroom smelled like body odor. The bad kind. There were boogers all over the vanity. And the pillows on the bed were all worn out and flat.

Overall, pretty tragic. When I stay in a Hilton, I expect better than this. I'll stay in the Holiday inn Express next time.
