In recent decades we have witnessed continuous progress in science and technology, contributing more and more to improving our knowledge and our well-being.
Unfortunately, the same can not be said of some structures of the University of Cagliari, such as the Palazzo delle Scienze, which, ironically, hosts several departments involved in these issues.
Carelessness and indifference, both on the part of the university and on the part of the teaching staff, oblige students of different courses to study and work in narrow and inadequate premises, complete with totally inadequate tools. I quote the great hall and the computer labs for personal experience. Lack of space forces students and researchers to literally struggle for a desk.
The continuous disregarded promises and the censorship implemented by the university make me understand that there is no desire to improve. I only wish that the right to education came before the internal struggles between universities and departments, but the facts tell anything but.
