Came here on New Years Eve and found the tour to be really educational and interesting. However, as you would imagine being NYE, it was packed to the brink with a hoard of people in every exhibit shoving their way through.

We didn t wait in line to see the Crown Jewels as the queue was 1.5 hours long sat the time. We just saw the Crown Jewels on google images and satisfied ourselves at that and spent 1.5 hours doing other things!

A big takeaway from this is to plan your visit properly i.e. time of year to visit and if has to be NYE, make sure you get there on the dot at the opening time to be able to see the Crown Jewels.
