Mir Schultz Review of ginnybakes
I have not tried all the GinnyBakes products, but ...
I have not tried all the GinnyBakes products, but I have tried four of them--one of the health bars and three of the cookie flavors. A full five stars for the chocolate chip oatmeal bliss cookies. These rock. You won't tell they're gluten free (which usually means a kinda crappy cookie, frankly, and I've tried loads of them.)
I found the chocolate chip less satisfying, but my husband likes them.
We both like the double chocolate happiness--very chocolatey, a less crumbly texture than the chocolate chip.
I did not at all like the nutty chocolatey health bar.
But seriously, try one of the oatmeal ones or chocolate ones. These cookies are so good.
I ordered some of the coconut oatmeal to try (should arrive this week from Amazon). I normally buy from Vitacost, but I may try ordering from GinnyBakes directly to see if they are even fresher this way.
To show how much we enjoy them, I ordered various boxes and some of the bags of the cookies and our pantry is full. These are great treats for the GF crowd. I hope she makes a minty chocolatey one someday, as well as a key lime one. Maybe a pina colada type one since we're in Miami.
Hubby loves lime and I miss Girl Scout Thin Mints, which I gave up 4+ years ago. Wanna consider it, Ginny.
Thanks, Ginny.
