Had preop Tuesday.Had to wait half hour for a chest X-ray. The X-ray was not entered into the computer so I had to have another X-ray the day of the surgery. Waited 4 hours for surgery because they were running late. Nurse was supposed to call me the next day to check on my health and make an appointment with the surgeon in two weeks. Never called me. I called back every day and got an answering machine. We will call you .
It turns out the nurse had called my driver not me. Finally talked to a manager who had the nurse call me. I wanted the appointment to be with the surgeon. No way! The nurse will call me. No visit. How will they know if the incision is healing properly or is not infected. By FaceTime? This is my wonderful experience at JFK hospital.
