Out of every hospital that left me traumatized and more broken than I came in, Peachford has always been the one place to help piece me back together..

That being said, staff including doctors often don t believe patients coming in from other places who are having adverse reactions to antipsychotics and similar when misdiagnosed elsewhere over what is normally just withdrawals from other meds.

While I was given some time for them to try to get to the root of why I wasn t sleeping for days (I had been heavily abused and drugged against in will in another facility for weeks, to the point of a ptsd diagnosis today), the doctor eventually put me on even more drugs and sent me out there door.

Maybe this is a problem with the system as a whole needing to medicate to charge insurance, but these doctors and nurses truly need to start being better advocates for patients in need without medication interference.

Basically though, of all places who deserve one star reviews, peachford is the least deserving as they actually do semi help.
