This is an impressive Hotel, Spa and Golf resort popular for social events, especially weddings. The facilities are extensive: the spa has a lovely pool and wide ranging pampering treatments; the golf course is delightful and challenging and there is a great pro shop, bar and bar food; the hotel closed its amazing Zodiac gourmet restaurant but it's current house restaurant - Cast Iron Grill - is good, with a decent menus and a super breakfast; the main house lounges and bar are first class luxury with superb afternoon teas; the hotel staff are really nice people so it is always good to be at Hanbury!
