If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We used to live at the condos on Rushmore Dr, which was originally leased by Southgate but later bought by Watts Group. Absolutely worst decision to stay there after the management change.

WARNING: If you're going to move out and your unit is available for showings, they will 1) show up an hour later and blame it on "traffic", because oh yes, traffic in Iowa City is so horrible that it makes you one hour late (sarcasm); or 2) show up unannounced for a showing, which by the way, is a breach of contract because they're supposed to give you 24 hour notice; or 3) just not show up at all, without notification, even though you've prepared your unit for showing.

We also did not receive even half of our deposit although we cleaned the place absolutely spotless. I would recommend taking advantage of the walk-through with them for final inspections. I recently came across another location I was considering moving into, until I noticed Watts Group managed them... which reminded me to write this review I never got to. Stay away if you're renting. Their lack of professionalism is comical, and they don't think that college students deserve any professional service at all.
