There are several problems in this residence.

There are several problems in this residence.

Some of them, structural, such as the Internet connection, are noticed from day one.

Apparently, at the peak of the day the system crashes and the server does not have enough power to supply everyone.

After insisting for a long time, the only thing that was done to change the situation was to send a boy to my room who simply checked if the plug gave connection or not.

Ridiculous. It is as if someone saw the Titanic sink from the engine room and thought that simply putting duct tape on the bonnet was enough.

The same situation occurs when you do not understand that servers must be changed in order to give a decent connection.

This is not the only problem, however.

The upper floors are an absolute display of chaos.

At the beginning of last year, I was installed in a room. large on the 3rd floor, and after staying a couple of nights, request the transfer to the reception floor, the only place where the true purpose of studying can be fulfilled, because what happens upstairs is a show.

Drugs of all kinds, recurring bottles, people smoking ...

Logically, these acts do not take place in an atmosphere of cordial coexistence and respect for the dreams of the neighbors of the plant (a condition that, if it occurred, would not lead me to have any problem with consumption), but rather seems an allegory of hedonism tinged with project X.

Apparently, the hab. singles on floor 1 are also a quiet area.

Therefore, the options are either to pay 700 per individual, or to pray that there is room for a double in a quiet area like the one I was in (which, it should be said, was very quiet) or to resign oneself to living in a hostess club.

The common areas of the entrance and the garden are very cool, the sports courts too.

It could be said that they are the most beautiful, something that says a lot about the residence, since in terms of the gallery the truth is that it shines quite a bit, but for example in others such as the library it leaves much to be desired.

There, it is not enough to have an unstable connection, sometimes there is the problem that the Wi-Fi does not reach directly.

Neither (and this is the surprising thing) does THE MOBILE INTERNET arrive in the library.

That is to say, there one is totally isolated (unless he is moderately savvy and decides to take an Ethernet cable to connect with the laptop in the socket on the wall of the library), giving the impression of being in little less than a bunker.

The girls at the reception are very nice and those in the dining room too, there is an air of good vibes with the client that, however, seems to disappear by the time the contract ends, on June 31st.

The boss didn't even make a move to smile.

It is curious that that day, not only in my room, but in many more, more clients entered than residents the company had had throughout the year (The entrance was collapsed).

And this is where you can get confused: But wasn't this a student residence?

What is the solution?

Propose camp packs for students of all nationalities, and the more that can be accommodated, the better.

The result? During the course, half of the residency is made up of Chinese children who want to learn to play soccer and Koreans who want to learn Spanish, creating a somewhat dubious hodgepodge for a university environment of socialization, something for which, if you are not willing to get high or to join the Asian community, it will be difficult for you to create.

If you play ping pong, however, you will have games with very good people to chatter with.

CONTRACT WITH PERMANENCE

PS: There are a couple of notable exceptions:

1- The director listened to my requests and put recycling bins, very nice gesture.

2-The receptionists are heaven, I maintain the relationship on Instagram. Not his boss.
