I am a car enthusiast, and I've been looking to buy a Mazda MX-5 for a while. I've found Jordan Auto through Cars.com and they had really good reviews, 4.6 average for over 200 reviews, I thought this might be a good place to buy this car. I live in Iowa City, IA but I was in Chicago for the Labor Day weekend, I've called Jordan Auto on Sep 2nd and talked to Julia, she gave me some useful info however they were going to close early due to the holiday and I couldn't make it on time and couldn't see the car. So I've called again on Sep 5th, and asked them if they could hold the car for me so I can go to Indiana on Saturday and see the car. Julia forwarded the phone to Stacy, and Stacy told me that they have a policy for 48 hours holding, and asked me if I'm serious about buying. I said that I'm very interested in the car and if it's in acceptable condition I will buy it same day, in cash, no finance. Stacy said that she'd wait till Thursday evening and if the car is still available she would pull it from the lot and hold it for me till Saturday. Stacy also said that she would call me either way. I was very excited about the car and I've called them 4-5 times, Julia told me that they still have the car and Stacy would call me to confirm. However she never called me, I've called her and left few messages but couldn't talked to her and she didn't called me back till Saturday. On Saturday morning, she left me a voicemail saying "car was sold blah blah..." this was so annoying and I am very upset about the way I was treated.
