My husband and I stood already a few times at the hotel with our 2 dogs which I always announced. We always got a ground floor room which has a patio door to the sprawling parking area. It's very convenient for loading and unloading the car and letting the dogs out no matter what time. This time however we've been told that the rooms for guest with dogs are at the 2nd and 3rd floor. Very inconvenient since we had to use not only the elevator but also had to go 12 steps down to reach the outside door (which is looked during the night and can only be open by calling the night porter. But the call device is located behind a again looked door). I wonder if that is that people are discouraged to bring their dogs. The rooms are always clean, spacy and very quiet. And the in price included breakfast is rich in choice and delicious. Unfortunately after this experience we will have to find another hotel when we stay over in Waterloo again.
