Experience with Southern Legal Group, A Cautionary Review

I engaged Southern Legal Group to assist with my family matter, agreeing to a three-stage service:

Case Review – Assessing my situation and legal needs.

Court Representation – Advocating on my behalf.

Form Submission – Preparing and filing necessary legal documents.

I submitted my case on April 4, 2025, with a scheduled court date of May 12, 2025. Despite assurances that all required actions would be completed, the firm delayed submitting the notice of service until the last minute, leading to an adjournment of my case.

Prior to the court date, I was required to make full payment, yet the firm failed to submit the necessary forms as agreed. Furthermore, the resulting court orders did not reflect my requests and appeared to favor the opposing party. Upon requesting a refund for the incomplete third stage, I was only offered a partial amount.

Based on my experience, I found the firm’s handling of my case to be unsatisfactory. The delays, lack of communication, and failure to fulfill agreed-upon services resulted in financial loss and unnecessary setbacks. I advise others to exercise caution when considering legal representation from this firm.
