Review of Telford Whitehouse Hotel

I was so excited to stay here being 4 star etc... ...

I was so excited to stay here being 4 star etc... after a 3 hour drive I couldn't wait to get there.

Unfortunately I was disappointed.

I checked into my room and first thing I noticed was how dated the decor was.

There were large yellow stains (I took photos of this just so I wasent accused of lying) that I could see through the white sheets that also had holes in them.

There was a brown stain on the sheet.

So I went to reception and asked for new bedding the lady there was lovely In all fairness (reception manager I think she was) she came and changed my bed for me and apologised. But still there is no excuse for a dirty bed in any hotel especially a 4 star hotel.

Also the tray the kettle was on was covered in stains it wasent very clean.

My tv remote was missing the cover so the batteries kept falling out, the tv was sooooo slow in loading channels also.

Also the walls were so thin I could hear next doors tv, and when they were running their bath/shower omg the noise was insane so much so I had to record it on my phone as I wondered if it was just me.

Got to sleep at 12:30am and was woken up by traffic outside at 6:30am

I had bed and breakfast included BUT I didn't get any food (through choice)I just wanted to get out of that hotel after all the problems with just my room.

I wouldn't stay there again. I stayed at Telford travel lodge before and the travel lodge knocked spots off this one.
