Central canteen of the university campus of Trieste, it looks like a large rectangular building with large windows on two floors.

On the ground floor we can find the breakfast area, where for less than 1 euro, you can enjoy a good coffee or tea accompanied by krapfen, brioches or other; on the first floor we find the lunch and dinner area.

The menu offered is always varied from day to day and attentive to the nutritional needs of the students, then accompanied by the courtesy and kindness of the staff.

The only downside (but not because of the canteen management), is the massing of people during meals, which makes you waste time (especially if you are in a hurry). Then there would be a separate discussion towards those who occupy seats for friends, preventing people with the tray in hand from sitting, but it is an untreatable topic here.

Last things, a teahouse has been set up on the roof for a few months (I have yet to visit it) and an app to see the menu of the day, to warn in case of diets, intolerances. It would be perfect if it could be used as a direct means of recharging credit in the student card, thus saving time for ticket dispensers.
