We rented an apartment from Watts Group for 6 months in 2017. There had been a speaker system to hook up an ipod in the apartment that never worked for the entirety we lived there (we did let them know multiple times, they said they'd get someone out to fix it and never did. It wasn't a big deal to us but just slightly annoying because why bother to even say you're coming then?). We also had to send in a maintenance request twice before they came out to fix a broken trim on the floorboard that we noted when we moved in.
The biggest issue was our security deposit from which they withheld $450 for "cleaning," although our move-out checklist said not one thing needed cleaning. I will admit they refunded the remainder after I emailed them about it, but makes you wonder how many people they withhold from and people don't even question it (a colleague of mine had the same thing happen to her so I'm sorry but I don't think it's an isolated incident).
The apartment was nice, a newer unit, but I think it went up rather quickly without much regard to longevity as our outside walls were starting to separate due to foundation settling.
