Very dated though can see it was once fabulous. Very quiet with minimal atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa dated and showers in particular were dirty (clump of hair in mine), shower head all blocked, finish around door with wide gap, needs attention. Uplighter in room not working, wood trellis cover radiator in poor state, mini bar very sad, two bottles of water (no idea whether we were allowed them for free) and four long life milk plastic portions to go with our four t-bags! We expected much much more for the high cost. No greeting at door on arrival on the Sat eve unlike the next day when the wedding show was taking place. Suddenly smiling staff and a red carpet appeared! Will not be staying again I'm afraid.
