I am writing this on behalf of my 90 year old mother. We needed a home visiting nurse and a physical therapist for our mother and chose Moorestown Visiting Nurses mainly because of local convenience. During one of the Nursing visits, $1500.00 in cash was stolen from her kitchen. Money she relied on for grocery shopping and paying bills. In contacting administration, it appeared they backed their employees and not the patient. Police couldn't prove 100% who the thief was. Never heard anymore from MVN Admin. Bottom line...if you hire them, don't leave them out of your sight! There probably still is a thief among them who feels they got away with it & can do it again! We have since been using Bayada Nurses & couldn't be happier with their service. As a tip from a lesson learned...always have someone present during visits. A quote from our mother since this happened to her is: "Nothing but bad luck will fall on the person who helped themselves to what did not belong to them!"
PS " I WANTED TO GIVE THEM ZERO STARS BUT IT WOULDN'T ALLOW ME!"
No one was "CLEARED" of any wrong doing because no one could be charged...the "THIEF" was good at what they did, knew exactly how to take advantage of an elderly person & got away with it.
