The Crowne Plaza Manama (Bahrain) is one of the true great 5 star hotels in The Kingdom. For Ramadan this year the hotel chose to use the rear area and named it "The BackYard" where a truly magnificent traditional Arabic oasis style area complete with traditional style tents has been laid out. The Iftar food event was quite remarkable and a harbinger of what the Ghabga meal would be like. The management are outstanding and we were treated royally from the time we arrived until we departed. If there is a magic meal carpet ride in Bahrain then this is it - if you want a wonderful safe Iftar or Ghabga meal this Ramadan, in the most pleasant surroundings with subtle but very obvious and clear pandemic safety precautions exercised then a visit to the Crowne Plaza (Manama) Hotel is a must.
