Our laws to protect customers from fraudulent business practices are obviously broken. Proof is this company exists. There are cases like this in the USA where the state attorney General personally dealt with the gym that was charging during covid. Here in Canada, I guess they can get away with it. Hidden charges, make it up as they go charges. As another commenter wrote, DO NOT allow them to pre-authorize charges!!! Only way to stop them is to cancel your card or work with the bank to stop them.
