Took my brother in the ER for a severe panic attac...

Took my brother in the ER for a severe panic attack and anxiety from not having the right dose of medicine. I waited in the waiting room for 5 hours and they still would not let me see him but let our grandma walk right in. Now they wanna keep him for two weeks even tho the meds they gave him are working and he is stable and will see his actual dr when he gets out to make sure his meds are what s right for him. The law states 72 hour involuntary hold for evaluation unless they pose a risk of harm and even then after 72 hours they need a court order. It s been 48 and now they want to send him to a mental hospital for long term care with no medical reason to. After 72 hours I plan on getting a lawyer and the police. This is wrong and will sue if not released ASAP. Grant sucks and should be closed. Not the first incident with the hospital.
