Great big old hotel set in the Herts countryside. Very grand approach through the golf course. If you have any mobility issues, let the hotel know in advance as it's quite a trip to the rooms furthest from reception. Also, drop of your bags before parking. ..that's also quite a walk. Excellent gym/spa. Nice bar and its own 150 year old recipe beer. Rooms are large and in keeping with the overall age and style of the hotel.
